Trallallà

Trallallà

Trallallà is an Italian artist born in Naples in 1968. Over the years, the streets of his hometown have become the natural stage for his works.

His art transcend museum boundaries and becomes accessible to the community, a gift the artist wants to give to his fellow citizens.

As the artist himself states, "art in the street loses its sanctity. The museum preserves, the street consumes. What I like most is the ephemeral nature of the things I create: some works might last just a few hours or days.  Sun, wind, rain, life. What remains are only a few photos, sometimes not even those."

His manifesto work can be considered "Partenope", the "chubby mermaid", which is a hymn to imperfect beauty. Partenope represents an ideal of a very sensual woman who tears apart the veil of conformity with her pride and self-awareness.
